The Ministry of Finance warns that participating in a game of chance may lead to addiction.
Poker action at the largest casino in Slovakia brings not only prestigious tournaments and major festivals, but also attractive promotions for cash game players. With the arrival of autumn, Card Casino Šamorín presents a new feature that brings several bonuses together under one clear and transparent system – the Cash Game Jackpot.
The Card Casino Cash Game Jackpot works as a shared pool into which all cash game bonus contributions are collected. Instead of separate jackpots, there is one central fund from which individual rewards such as the Bad Beat Jackpot, Progressive High Hand Jackpot and Race for Flush are paid out.
The Cash Game Jackpot is active during regular days and festivals organized exclusively by Card Casino Šamorín, including events such as Grand Prix, Card Casino Royal and Card Poker Series. During festivals organized in cooperation with external partners, the Cash Game Jackpot is temporarily suspended.
So how does it work? At Card Casino, contributions are not taken separately from each pot for individual bonuses. All contributions go into a single Cash Game Jackpot, from which the bonuses are later paid according to clearly defined rules.
Let’s take a closer look at the individual components that make up the Card Casino Cash Game Jackpot.
The Progressive High Hand Jackpot is a brand-new feature for cash game players at Card Casino. A reward is paid to any player who hits one of the top three hand combinations – Royal Flush, Straight Flush or Quads (Four of a Kind). The payout depends on the current jackpot value assigned to each specific combination.
The starting values of the High Hand jackpots are:
Royal Flush – €1,000
Straight Flush – €500
Quads – €300
Each of these rewards increases by €50 on a weekly basis. The maximum jackpot value is set at €2,000 for Straight Flush and Quads, and up to €5,000 for a Royal Flush. After a payout, the value of the respective High Hand jackpot is reset to €50 and begins to grow progressively again.
In Pot Limit Omaha games, 50% of the respective combination’s jackpot value is paid. To qualify for the jackpot, a player must use both hole cards when making Quads. For a Straight Flush or Royal Flush, using one hole card is sufficient.
Losing with one of the strongest possible hands is one of the most painful moments in poker. The Bad Beat Jackpot is designed exactly for such situations, turning bad luck into a rewarding experience.
A Bad Beat can occur if at least four players are seated at the table and the pot reaches a minimum of €11, which is the threshold from which contributions to the Cash Game Jackpot are collected. If a player loses with at least Quad Tens, the Bad Beat Jackpot is triggered.
The payout is distributed as follows:
The losing hand receives 45% of the total Cash Game Jackpot value
The winning hand receives 20%
The remaining 10% is shared among the other players at the table
In Pot Limit Omaha, 50% of the total Bad Beat Jackpot value is paid.
