The Norwegian super festival is over. The last two weeks belonged to the Northerners at Card Casino, who once again put on quite a show. But it wasn't all about the Vikings. Slovakian poker players were not lost either, as the Main Event was a clear proof of that.

The main tournament of the festival had a guarantee of €500,000. There were 1759 entries, bringing the total guarantee to a whopping €545,290!

After the opening flights, dozens of players were desperate to get through DAY 2. The top 16 was originally scheduled to advance to the Final Day, but two players busted in the final hand of the night, so we went into the final day in the top 15 with two Slovak players - Ivan Sebede and Julius Legen.

Unfortunately, the former was on the shortlist and finished rather quickly - in 13th place for €4,050.

The two semi-final tables were over fairly quickly, and so we went to the Final Table after less than three hours. The international line-up plus Slovakian fighter Legen fought it out for the top prize, a whopping €82,740!

And indeed, it wasn't far for Legen to get them. The players around him were gradually dropping out, Legén was getting good cards, and when he needed to be held up, which his huge rail from Hnúšt' was also enjoying.

Eventually he made it to heads-up play, where he clearly dominated the early chip counts and also found himself in an all-in-call situation against Norway's Petter Solli Berg. The latter eventually turned the tide of the tournament in his favour, winning over 80k.

However, Legen, who finished in 2nd place for €45,100, doesn't have to mourn too much. On the contrary. He has achieved the biggest success of his poker career, and we congratulate him heartily.

And how did the payout structure of the players on the FINAL TABLE look like?

1. Petter Solli Berg (Norway)     82.740€

2. Július Legén (Slovakia)        45.100€

3. Branimir Jovanovic (Serbia)    26.500€

4. Ioawwis Souroukijis (Greece)    16.100€

5. Gergely Adam Lecs (Hungary) 11.100€

6. Kenneth Amundsen (Norway) 8.600€

7. Mats Oerstad (Norway) 6.900€

8. Gergo Fekete (Hungary)     5.700€
